Douglas W. Bloss, O.D.

Dr. Bloss is a 1987 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He opened his Grandview optometric practice that same year. He is an active member of The American Optometric Association, The Ohio Optometric Association, The Central Ohio Optometric Association and the Stadium Scholarship Dormitory Alumni Society at The Ohio State University. Dr. Bloss travels to the large optical expositions (New York, Paris, etc.) in order to find eyewear for his patients that is unique, fashionable and yet functional.

MaryEllen Swartz Luebbers, O.D.

Dr. Luebbers is a 2005 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She was born and raised in Grandview Heights, Dr. Luebbers graduated from Bishop Watterson High School and Ohio Dominican College. Dr. Luebbers is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association and the Central Ohio Optometric Association. She began working for Eye Designs when she was a student in 1996. She joined the practice as an Optometrist in 2005.

John P. Maszczak, O.D.

Dr. Maszczak graduated from Westminster College. He received his Doctor of Optometry in 2005 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. After receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree, he completed a hospital-based residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Outpatient Clinic and the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. He has worked as clinical faculty in the Ocular Disease Service at The Ohio State University College of Optometry before recently joining the Eye Designs team. He is an active member of the Central Ohio Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry.

Karen A. Riccio, O.D.

Dr. Karen Riccio is a 1982 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She practiced at the Cincinnati Eye Institute for 10 years. While at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, she was involved in emergency eye care, pediatric eye care, medical glaucoma care, and peri-operative cataract surgery care. Upon moving back to Columbus, Dr. Riccio was the optometric director of a laser vision correction center. She joined the Eye Designs team in 1997. Dr. Riccio is actively involved in The American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association and the Central Ohio Optometric Association. She is currently serving as President-elect of the Board of the Ohio Optometric Association.
